About me: My Name is Mike Orsburn, my birth name was Collie, my ancestors on the Collie side came to North Carolina in 1640. They came via England. I have not traced the family back any further than England. My ancestors have been mostly in the south and we have numerous bloodlines throughout the United States. Most of my current family resides in Texas. My Grandfather on my Mothers side came to Texas in a covered wagon from Mississippi in the Early 1900's. He fought in World War 1 and was blown up by a land mine and left for dead. He crawled several miles to a first aid camp and survived. He had shrapnel in his body till the day he died. I lost an uncle in World War II, both the man that raised me and his other brother served in Korea. I have had numerous relatives that I have traced that served in the revolutionary war and Civil wars. Throughout my research I have found that I am at least 1/4 Choctaw Indian, French, Scottish, Irish, English or just say Anglo Saxon for short, not counting the Indian blood. Part of me was here in America long before any of the Europeans came here. The bottom line is I do not intend to see all of the honor , courage, valor, and bloodshed that has occurred before me go to waste watching the country that my forefathers fought and died for become another, Dictatorship, Communist, socialist or eroded Democracy with only remnants of the constitution left in tact. I will lead or I will follow but it will only be for Freedom, Equality, fairness, restoration of the constitution that this country was founded on, and integrity in our lives and those who govern us.
