One of the best things you can do for your children is teach them history. Do it in a way that brings it alive in their small minds Pictures are worth a thousand words. There is a wonderful greatness in the story of the United States of American that will send chills down your spine as you reread and teach this wonderful history to your children.

There may also be immigrants in your neighborhood or work who do not know the story and would love to hear it. Maybe over dinner one evening you could invite them over and share it with them. To some of you this may sound corney, stupid, lame or whatever word you want to use, but I challenge you to try it,  just once, and see how their eyes light up as you tell the story and how amazing you feel telling it. See if it does not bring back the feeling of awe in your soul that has made this country great. As we revisit these stories and share them with others it will help to empower all of the people of this great nation to speak out and reclaim it greatness.
